light within the queer community. Through her boundless energy and infectious enthusiasm, Lucid demonstrates the
limitless boundaries of self-expression, gender fluidity, and personal growth. Combining her professional dance
experience with live vocals, empowering lyrics, and flow artistry, she produces motivational and uplifting
content that inspires people to access their most authentic selves.

The Person Behind The Persona
Brodie Marples has had a lifetime of experience as a professional entertainer prior to ever stepping foot in
a pair of heels. Brodie started training as an Actor at the age of twelve. At fifteen, he started pursuing
private classical vocal lessons, and at sixteen, started training in every style of dance offered at the
school he attended.
At seventeen, he was picked up by a touring company of young singers and dancers based out of Southern
California called “The Young Americans”. Here he gained experience performing alongside Broadway legends such
as Susan Egan, Kelli O’Hara, Hugh Panaro, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Shirley Jones and more. He also participated
in International Music Outreach Tours, teaching creative arts workshops and performing all over Europe and
Asia, working with thousands of children, adolescents and adults, including at-risk youth and special needs,
as well as within prison systems.
Following his five years with the YA’s, Brodie then moved on to perform for Royal Caribbean Cruises before
returning to Vancouver to rediscover his very own artistic expression that would lead to the inception of “The
Lucid Fairy”.
